Who We Are

Dinomus is a dinosaur guessing game designed for children aged 4–10. The app is operated by fold8 Design Studio.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the game experience:

• Account information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
• Game scores: We store your game scores to display your personal high score history.
• Usage analytics: We collect anonymous gameplay data (such as which dinosaurs were guessed and how many clues were used) to improve the game. This data is not linked to your identity.
• Voice input: The app uses your device's microphone for voice guessing. Voice data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

How We Use Information

• To save and display your game scores
• To personalise your game experience
• To improve the game through anonymous analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Dinomus is designed for children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent.

Sign-in is optional. Children can play Dinomus without creating an account. If a parent or guardian signs in with a Google account on behalf of their child, we collect only the information described above.

Parents and guardians may request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Third-Party Services

Dinomus uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: For authentication and score storage. Firebase Privacy Policy
• ElevenLabs: For text-to-speech voice generation. Clue text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate audio. ElevenLabs Privacy Policy
• Anthropic Claude: For generating fun dinosaur facts. Dinosaur names are sent to generate facts. Anthropic Privacy Policy

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Game scores are only accessible to the account that created them.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
